It was so amazing to see a little person inside of me! For most of my life I've felt directionless and purposeless. Now I finally feel like I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. I can't believe I waited so long. We were sure it was a girl (Ben's occupational hazard) up until last week when the kick fest really began. I said to a friend of mine something to the effect of, "these feel more like boy kicks!" Fortunately, I have more child care experience with boys so maybe this will go a tad bit smoother.

Unfortunately though, boy names are the harder ones for me to come up with. I really don't like common names at all. They are boring. The name must at least be unique to my situation as in, no family or friends names. When I think of this new person, I want to think of them alone and not have that be linked to someone else. Here are some that I'm thinking of:

• Jaxen
• Zedd
• Mason
• Dante
• Nolan
• Axis  
• Kai 

Let these stew around in your brain a little. I'll probably post a poll next time so you can cast your vote too! Also, I'd be open to anything you've heard that's unique and/or nature/science oriented. 
 

The little bugger kept moving around so much it was hard to get a clean shot! That's ok though, he just takes after his Mama.

We bought the play yard last week (this will double as a crib until we can move him into a real bed) and set it up to begin the airing out process. Sierra tested it out for us so we know its good to go. Also, when we eventually get the nursery done it WILL be DINOSAURS.
